Standard specification.

The BMW M3 Saloon comes with an impressive standard specification. To find out exactly what is included for this model please download the detailed specification below.

The BMW M3 Saloon’s motorsport origins are strikingly apparent in the oversized air inlets on the front of the car, the LED headlights and black double slats on the kidney grille.

The car’s distinctive shape is continued side-on, with the curved roof line combining the silhouette of a four door saloon with the character of a high performance sports car.

Even its black carbon roof reduces its overall weight and lowers its centre of gravity for an even sportier drive. The Air Curtain and Air Breather with M gills add an aerodynamic finishing touch.

At the rear, the dynamic-looking L-shaped LED lights combine with four bevelled tailpipes. The design of which provides an unmistakable throaty sound, which contributes to the overall thrill of the BMW M3 Saloon and communicate its racing heritage.

Interior design.

Nowhere is the BMW M3 Saloon’s motorsport pedigree more apparent than in its interior. The M seats, with their shell shape and illuminated M logos, offer perfect ergonomics and side stability. So even in extreme driving situations, they create a seamless connection between driver and vehicle, and make you feel at one with the road.

The flowing transition between the instrument panel and the centre console ensures that the driver is the focal point of the cockpit. This, combined with the high-quality aluminium surfaces, creates an ambience of sportiness and technological progress that’s sure to get every driver’s pulse racing.

M Seats deliver perfect ergonomics and body support during dynamic driving. Several features contribute to the M seats’ motorsport character: contoured sides, integrated headrests and pronounced raised elements, as well as seat-width adjustment and lumbar support.

Comfort is even further enhanced by a kneepad on the centre console which provides improved side support during dynamic driving, while the deep-set seats lower the car's centre of gravity and improve responsiveness.

BMW M3 Saloon exterior mirror

M exterior mirrors.

The aerodynamically optimised M exterior mirrors play a key role in the car’s sporty extrovert design. Mounted via two gracefully formed supports, the mirrors are a precision component built to the highest technical standards. The additional translucent LED indicators have been fitted perfectly into a long, narrow groove to ensure every element is integrated into the design.

To push yourself to the limit, you need absolute control. Which is why all the functions in the BMW M3 Saloon’s cockpit have been intuitively placed and put within easy reach. The centrepiece is the M leather steering wheel, where you’ll find the M Drive buttons for activating your personalised vehicle setup and – for models with M double-clutch transmission – the gearshift paddles.

The instrument panel in the M design further enhances the car’s sportiness. Innovative high-tech features like the BMW Head-up Display with M-specific details ensures that important information is always in your line of sight.

Redeveloped and weight-optimised, the wheels of the BMW M3 Saloon further enhance the car’s powerful form. The standard 19-inch M light-alloy double-spoke design in Ferric Grey (or optional Jet Black) reveal a glimpse of the powerful M Carbon ceramic brakes or M Compound brakes. They also provide maximum tracking stability thanks to the standard mixed tyres, which create a muscular appearance and optimise steering and grip.

The rich history and success of the iconic BMW M3 began in 1986, and it has since been refined into the high performance sports car recognised around the world today. To celebrate 30 years since the launch of the original M3 comes the BMW M3 30 Jahre; an anniversary edition BMW M3 Saloon limited to 30 models worldwide in this exclusive specification.

The car’s sporty appeal is enhanced by Frozen Silver metallic paintwork and classic BMW M Performance carbon-fibre detailing on the exterior, with Bi-colour Black and Fjord Blue Merino leather on the interior. An embossed logo on the front seat headrests, a laser engraved inscription on the carbon-fibre interior trim of the logo and ‘1 of 30’ designation are just a few of the exclusive features of the car.

With unique styling, a power output of 450hp and an acceleration of 0 to 62 mph in 4.0 seconds, the BMW M3 30 Jahre is the perfect embodiment of what makes an iconic M3, and proves that the character of the original M3 hasn’t been lost along the way.
